Sri Govardhan Bhoga Offering Registration
Hare Krishna, Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
With joy in our hearts, we invite you to our upcoming Govardhan Puja celebration on the blessed day of 14th November. This year, we have a divine opportunity for all initiated devotees who are connected with Vaikuntha Hill to personally prepare bhoga for Their Lordships Sri Sri Rajagopala Rukmini Satyabhama and Giri Govardhana.
Here are some essential guidelines for this sacred offering:
- Each family is encouraged to prepare one item, either sweet or savoury.
- Initiated devotees may express their willingness to prepare two items, should the opportunity arise.
- Kindly fill out the form, indicating the item you intend to prepare.
- Bhoga offerings should be dry, non-perishable, and should be prepared just either on the festival day or on the day before the festival.
- Please refrain from items like rice, halava, mixtures, or liquids, which may be challenging to handle and distribute.
- Syrup-based items should not be included in your offering.
- Cooking, cutting, chopping, and packing should be exclusively carried out by initiated devotees.
- In case you require assistance, please coordinate with fellow initiated devotees.
- Each offering to be arranged in 12 inch areacanut plate. The number of pieces should be minimum of 45 numbers. Plate will be provided in mini-OAT. Ensure that your offering is thoughtfully packed, allowing them to beautifully stack up like a mountain in the traditional 12-inch areca nut plate.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the Lord through selfless service. Let’s come together in devotion and create an offering that will deeply touch the heart of Lord Krishna.
The program will take place in the evening at the mini-OAT.
We will share further details on the offering submission after receiving the names of items from all of you. Please note that the number of offerings to Govardhan is limited to 56. This is available on the first response first basis.
Please send your response on or before Friday 3rd November 2023.
Jai Giri Govardhan ki Jai!
